The first application of Merit Medical®’s Ostial PRO® Stent Positioning System, in Greece, was successfully performed on February 4th, 2016, by the Interventional Cardiologist, Mr. K. Triantafyllou, at Evaggelismos Hospital.

OSTIAL PRO® Stent Positioning System allows easier assessment of coronary or renal ostia, improving the accuracy of stent positioning in AO lesions. Moreover, it helps avoid potential complications, and it enables more accurate stent placement, which can help reduce the length of procedures, fluoroscopy and radiation exposure, as well as use of contrast (important for preserving renal function).
